Installed into a drum prior to filling, the Drumwaiter™ In-Drum Elevator can fit almost any size/type drum, it has no contact with contents in a lined drum, it is committed to use in a single drum, and it is not reusable.
Externally, a drum equipped with a Drumwaiter™ Elevator, is physically indistinguishable from a conventional drum, and it has no additional shipping or handling procedures. A Drumwaiter™ equipped drum arrives ready to use and requires no modification to existing equipment.
The In-Drum Elevator is activated by the external Drumwaiter™ Footpedal. The Drumwaiter™ Footpedal, is custom designed and built specifically to meet the specifications required for Drumwaiter™ Elevators. Only the Drumwaiter™ branded Footpedal is approved for use with a Drumwaiter™ Elevator. The Drumwaiter™ Footpedal is most often connected to the In-Drum Elevator through an iris port on the Bulk Powder Enclosure, Downflow Booth or Isolator.
The Drumwaiter™ Elevator and the Drumwaiter™ Footpedal, work together providing hands free operation, to raise, lower, or hold the contents of a drum at any height repeatedly until the drum is empty.
